We have listened to your feedback and developed a site that we hope you will find easier to use.
The improvements we’ve made…
It’s easier to find cheap train tickets
We’ve introduced a second way to search for train tickets – use our Best Fare Finder to help you find the cheapest train tickets in a single click on every page. The Best Fare Finder lets you compare ticket prices from multiple times of the day and days of the week on a single, easy-to-read page. This means that if you can be flexible about your travel arrangements you can quickly find the cheapest train ticket available.
It‘s easier to manage your personal account
We've integrated our unique personalised journey-planning tool, ‘My Journeys’ with booking tickets so you now only need one login and password for both accounts.
Alerts for cheap train tickets
We’ve made it easier to register to receive email alerts from ‘My Journeys’ when we release batches of cheap train tickets. You can also check our calendar to see exactly what dates the last release of tickets were for.
We’ve added more information about car parking
We’ve made it easier to check car parking facilities and prices for all of our stations. We’ve also added off-peak car parking prices starting at just £2 per day.
You can now check the carbon footprint of your train journey
Our carbon calculator allows you to compare the carbon footprint of your journey by train, bus and car.
Clearly explained ways to save even more money
We’ve added a page dedicated to special offers and ways to save on the costs of train travel.
Thank you for helping us improve our online service, we hope you like the changes.
We value your feedback.
