East Midlands Trains is providing an opportunity for people to enjoy a bargain day out in London with the launch of its new London Day Out ticket. The inclusive ticket, which is available from this Saturday (10 July), provides a complete day out in London priced from just £45 return.
Offering First Class travel, a full English breakfast (on selected morning services), a one day travelcard and 24 hours car parking, the ticket provides a great value package.
Commenting, Jayne Moyses, Sales Manager for East Midlands Trains, said: “Our new London Day Out ticket provides some significant savings for people wanting to enjoy a day out in London over the summer.
“As well as providing luxury First Class travel with a chance to enjoy a tasty breakfast on the way, it’s also so much easier with car parking and a one day travelcard all built into the price providing an easy, hassle-free experience with some great discounts!”
When purchased individually, the costs of the different parts of the London Day Out ticket would be as follows:
· One day travelcard = £7.50
· 24 hours car parking = up to £6.30
· Breakfast = £10
This means that passengers can travel in First Class from just £21.20 return, offering great value for money.
The London Day Out ticket is available up to 19.00 the day before travel, subject to availability, and can be purchased at any East Midlands Trains’ station or by calling 08457 125 678. It is available on Saturdays only, and return travel must be made on the same day. It is available for travel from Sheffield, Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham, Alfreton, East Midlands Parkway, Leicester and Market Harborough. Prices start from £45.00 and vary dependent on the route travelled.
