East Midlands Trains has announced a programme of Meet the Manager events to take place across its stations and train services. Designed to give customers an opportunity for a discussion with the company’s directors and senior managers, the programme will run throughout the year at a variety of locations.
Jake Kelly, Customer Service Director for East Midlands Trains, explains: “We know that our customers value the opportunity to talk to us in person and raise any queries they have about their train service.
“Past experience demonstrates that people have more opportunity to talk to us whilst they are travelling on the train, so this year we’ll be taking a number of journeys with our customers to listen to their comments, concerns and compliments!
“We’ve got lots of investment to improve our services currently ongoing including a £19m refurbishment of trains and improvements to our stations, and with punctuality at an all time high, there’s plenty of good news we can pass onto our customers, but we’ll also welcome any feedback on how we can make further improvements.”
Posters will also be displayed at stations in advance of events to give customers prior notice.
