Planned engineering works between Boston and Skegness Saturday 3 October - Sunday 1 November 2009

Due to planned engineering works in the Boston area, there will be no train services between Boston and Skegness between the above dates. Services between Nottingham and Skegness will start/terminate at Boston. A rail replacement bus service will operate between Boston and Skegness.
Lincolnshire County Council’s “Call Connect Service” will provide buses for customers travelling to/from Thorpe Culvert and Havenhouse. These will connect with the replacement buses operated by East Midlands Trains at Wainfleet and will provide a service to Skegness.
Call Connect operates in response to passenger requests. You must reserve at least two hours before you wish to travel by telephoning 0845 234 3344. Lines are open Monday-Friday 0830-1700 and Saturdays 0900-1600.
Journey times will be extended by approximately 40 minutes compared to normal train times.
Customers who require Assisted Travel should contact East Midlands Trains on 08457 125 678 at least 24 hours before travel.
