Routes affected: London St Pancras, Wellingborough, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, & Sheffield

Monday to Friday The following East Midland services are unable to call at Market Harborough and will arrive at all stations beyond Wellingborough later than normal 22:25 London St Pancras to Sheffield, 23:15 London St Pancras to Derby. Rail replacement buses will operate in connection with the above services. Tuesday to Friday. The following services is retimed retimed to depart 04:20 from Leicester and arrive as booked into London St Pancras. 05:00 Leicester to London St Pancras

Train services between Ely and Peterborough are being disrupted due to a broken down train.

Delays of up to 30 minutes and alterations can be expected.

The current estimate for a normal service to resume is 15.00

Engineering work between Nottingham and Grantham from Saturday 10 to Sunday 11 May 2008

Routes affected: Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Sheffield, Nottingham, Grantham, Peterborough & Norwich

Services between Nottingham and Grantham are replaced by buses in both directions. A reduced services will operate between Grantham and Sleaford. Trains between Nottingham and Norwich are revised to operate between Grantham and Norwich.

Engineering work between Leicester and Loughborough on Sunday 11 May 2008

The 21:30 London St Pancras International to Nottingham and the 22:00 St Pancras International to Derby services will be retimed to depart Loughborough up to 5 minutes earlier. All other times unaltered. The 22:25 St Pancras International to Sheffield service will be unable to call at Loughborough. Replacement bus services will operate between Leicester, Loughborough and Derby. Journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes. All other times unaltered. The 23:15 St Pancras International to Derby service will be retimed 5 minutes later throughout between Loughborough, Nottingham and Derby. All other times unaltered.

Routes affected: Nottingham, Radcliffe, Bingham, Grantham, Sleaford, Boston & Skegness and Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Grantham, Peterborough, Ely & Norwich

Replacement road transport will operate between Nottingham and Grantham. A limited rail service is in operation between Grantham and Sleaford with a normal rail service between Sleaford and Skegness Rail services will operate between Liverpool Lime Street and Nottingham and between Nottingham and Norwich but are diverted to not call at Grantham. Passengers should use the rail replacement road transport between Nottingham and Grantham and National Express East Coast services between Grantham and Peterborough

Routes affected: London St Pancras, Luton, Leicester, Loughborough, Derby / Nottingham, Chesterfield, Sheffield

Some services towards London are retimes to start earlier from Sheffield and Chesterfield and then run as normal from Derby or Nottingham. However the 05:00 Sheffield to London St Pancras will operate later from Sheffield and Chesterfield then run to normal times from Derby Services from London St Pancras are unaffected by this engineering work, however the 22:10 London St Pancras to Derby service is diverted after Leicester and will not call at Long Eaton. A replacement bus will operate for passengers using Long Eaton

Services will operate between Derby and Blythe Bridge. Replacement road transport will operate between Blythe Bridge and Crewe

East Midlands Trains services between Sheffield and London St Pancras will be operated hourly in both directions.

Services to and from Nottingham will terminate / start at Kettering.

A replacement bus service will operate serving Kettering, Wellingborough, and Bedford in both directions.

An additional rail shuttle service will operate between London St Pancras and Bedford in both directions.

Northern Rail

Replacement buses will run between Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent

Virgin Trains

Services are diverted and will not call at Macclesfield or Stoke-on-Trent. Replacement buses will run between Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford, between Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield and between Macclesfield and Wilmslow

East Midland Train service 22.59 Matlock to Nottingham (23.36 from Derby) will be retimed and diverted and will not call at Beeston, arriving into Nottingham later at 00.15.

A replacement bus service will operate serving Beeston. Journey will be extended by up to 20 minutes.

East Midland Trains services are subject to the following alterations.

  • 05.00 Leicester to St Pancras; will now depart from Leicester earlier and resume its booked times between Wellingborough and London St Pancras.
  • 21.00 St Pancras to Derby; Will run as booked until Loughborough; and is diverted and unable to call at Nottingham.
  • A Replacement bus service will be provided for those customers to / from Nottingham.
  • 21.30 & 22:00 services St Pancras to Nottingham.
  • The above services are retimed after Leicester; and will terminate at Loughborough. A replacement bus service will be provided for those passengers travelling to Beeston and Nottingham.
  • 23.15 St Pancras to Derby; retimed after Bedford (with extended journey time) and will be unable to call at Market Harborough, Nottingham and Beeston.
  • A replacement bus service will be provided for those customers.
  • 23.15 Friday only St Pancras to Derby; retimed slightly after Bedford; and there-on.
  • 22.25 St Pancras to Sheffield; Train will run as booked until Wellingborough; and then will run later and not call at Market Harborough. A replacement bus service will be provided for those customers.

Engineering work between Cleethorpes and Lincoln. Tuesday 27 May to Friday 30 May 2008

Routes affected: Newark North Gate, Lincoln, Grimsby Town and Cleethorpes

East Midlands Trains service 05:51 Cleethorpes to Newark Northgate will start from Market Rasen.

A replacement bus service will operate from Cleethorpes calling at all booked stations. Journey time will be extended by up to 30 minutes

Engineering work between Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent & Congleton on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June 2008

Routes affected: Plymouth, Exter St David's, Bristol Temple Meads,London Euston Northampton Birmingham New Street, Stoke-on-Trent. Congleton & Manchester Piccadilly.

East Midlands Trains services between Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe will be replaced . by buses calling at all booked stations in both directions.

Journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes.

Northern Rail services will operate between Manchester Piccadilly and Macclesfield.

A replacement bus service will operate between Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent in

both directions.

CrossCountry services will start / terminate at Stoke-on-Trent or divert via Wilmslow to Stockport.

A replacement bus service will operate between Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Wilmslow and Manchester Piccadilly in both directions.

Virgin Trains service will be diverted via Crewe and Wilmslow not calling at Stoke-on-Trent or Macclesfield.

A replacement bus service operated by Virgin Trains will run between Stafford, Macclesfield and Wilmslow in both directions.

The 21:25 and 22:10 London St Pancras to Derby services will arrive at Derby later than booked.

The following services will depart Derby earlier but will be as booked time departing Leicester.

East Midlands Trains service from 12:59 will be subject to the following alterations.

From London,

Services will depart London St Pancras at booked time but will arrive at all other stations slightly later.

Towards London:

Services will arrive at London St Pancras slightly later than booked.

Many services towards London St Pancras run early until Loughborough, where they will resume booked times.

Many services from London St Pancras run later from Loughborough or Luton.

All services towards Sheffield will call additionally at Chesterfield

Sunday services are diverted between Derby / Nottingham and Leiceister and will depart significantly earlier from their stations of origin.

The 20:30 Nottingham to London St Pancras service will run 1 minute later than normal between Luton and London St Pancras

The 21:35 London St Pancras to Nottingham service runs normally to Bedford. It will run slightly later than normal until Leicester where from it runs to it's normal time

The 22:10 London St Pancras to Derby service leaves London St Pancras at it's normal time but runs slightly later than normal for the rest of the journey
