Dozens of destinations in France and Belgium
Fancy an apéritif in Paris, Bordeaux or Champagne? Maybe a traditional beer or hot chocolate in Brussels or Bruges?
It's so simple to travel with East Midlands Trains to London St Pancras International – then change platforms for a high-speed Eurostar service to the Continent.
Where can I go?
Regular Eurostar services go direct from London St Pancras International to Paris, Brussels and Lille – but there are also direct services and connections across Europe.
It's only 2 hours and 15 minutes from London St Pancras International to the heart of Paris, less than two hours to Brussels, and only 1 hour and 20 minutes to Lille.
Change in Paris, Lille or Brussels for destinations such as Lyon, Marseille or Nice in the south of France; or go wine-tasting in Bordeaux, or travel to Tours to enjoy the Loire valley.
Or if you buy a ticket to Brussels, you can change for services across Belgium at no extra cost – so there's no excuse for not visiting romantic Bruges or the historic cities of Antwerp or Ghent.
Where can I travel from?
If you are travelling from–Sheffield, Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham, Market Harborough, Leicester, Kettering or Wellingborough–it's possible to buy an inclusive Connect to the Continent fare for single or return travel.
If you're travelling to Europe by rail from any other East Midlands Trains station, you will have to buy separate tickets; one to London St Pancras International and one to Europe. If that's you, go to our tickets page to buy your ticket to London St Pancras International.
