We’ve increased punctuality too. In the first four weeks of operating our new timetable, over 95% of London services ran on time. That’s an increase of over 5.5% compared to the same period in 2007/08.
We’ve also invested in a brand new multi-million-pound station, East Midlands Parkway. Now open for business, regular services include two fast trains per hour direct to London St Pancras International, taking just 1 hour and 35 minutes*.

You can’t work while you drive, but you can work while you travel by train. In fact, every minute of your journey can be put to good use.
We’ve got free WiFi internet access in our First Class lounges at Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and London St Pancras International. In fact, throughout next year, WiFi will be fitted on board all East Midlands Trains. Plus on many London services, you’ll find power sockets so you can work on your laptop and recharge your battery if you need to.
