Booking your rail tickets online with us is quick, convenient and in many cases cheaper than booking elsewhere. We have no booking fees, credit card charges or reservation charges – unlike many of our competitors. We also give you an extra £1 off our Internet Advance tickets, available on most services to and from London – exclusively available when you book online through this website.
We have two ways for you to purchase tickets online…
BOOK A JOURNEY – this service allows you to search for trains that meet your specific travel requirements.
BEST FARE FINDER – if you can be flexible when travelling to London, this service helps you to quickly search across multiple days for cheap train tickets. Best Fare finder can be used when searching for tickets from London to/from Sheffield, Chesterfield, Nottingham, Derby, East Midlands Parkway, Loughborough, Leicester and Kettering.
Collect at Station
Buy your ticket online and you have the option to collect your ticket at the station for free using a unique reference number and the credit/debit card you used to purchase.
When you get to the station, locate the ticket vending machines. Use the touch screen to select the option for collecting a purchased ticket. Insert the credit/debit card you used to purchase the ticket previously. When prompted, enter your eight-digit collection reference (you can’t collect your ticket without it). Collect all tickets, reservations and receipts from the machine before travelling.
We now also have 30 new 'collect only' ticket vending machines being installed across the route, making more machines available so collecting tickets from the station is quicker and easier than ever.
