Trains to Sheffield
We have two trains an hour to London and journey times from just 2 hours 5 minutes from London on selected services, Monday to Saturday. The two train services per hour depart Sheffield at 35 or 47 minutes past the hour between 0847 and 1835. The services at 35 minutes past the hour will also call at Chesterfield train station.
Our extra train services to/from Sheffield and London mean we have been able to double the number of cheap train tickets available. We have also added an hourly direct train service to East Midlands Parkway (for East Midlands Airport), trains to Loughborough and trains to Long Eaton as well as a second train per hour to Leicester. The new services are thanks to key stakeholder Travel South Yorkshire, who have provided funding.
