We’ve upgraded our First Class service. You can now enjoy free WiFi access in First Class (from just £4 in Standard Class), fresh milk served with hot drinks and free breakfast snacks (on selected Monday to Friday services). Also, on weekdays dedicated on-board service staff will also ensure your journey is even more comfortable.
There are some great benefits to travelling First Class including more space, less noise, a full range of mouth-watering snacks and light meals, and an at-seat service on most weekday London train services. What more could you wish for?

And First Class travel costs less than you might think – with our new lower-priced First Class Advance Tickets and extra value Weekend upgrades it’s now more affordable than ever.
Business travellers in particular will appreciate the convenience and privacy to catch up on work in our First Class carriages with plug points to recharge laptops and phones on certain services. Not to mention the complimentary refreshments (excluding weekends) and extra space that First Class offers.
An added bonus is our First Class lounges with free WiFi (available at Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, London St Pancras International and Business Lounge at East Midlands Parkway train stations). Sit back and relax, read the complimentary newspapers or work before boarding the train.
All First Class passengers excluding First Advance ticket holders travelling to/from Sheffield are entitled to free travel on the Supertram network. Download your Supertram voucher.
