Matlock train station is a glorious gateway to the Peak District and is now even easier to reach with East Midlands Trains.
We run an hourly train service between Matlock and Nottingham, via Belper and Derby. On Monday to Saturday, trains from Matlock now arrive in Derby in time to meet our Derby to London services. Register with ‘My Journeys’ to plan your journey around the Peak District by saving your favourite stations – you can also download personalised timetables and quickly access train times to Matlock.
The Derwent Valley Line travels through the picturesque and historic landscape between Nottingham, Derby and Matlock.
