Northern - Industrial Action

Northern Rail services on Friday 28th April will be affected by industrial action being carried out by the On Train Conductors. 

East Midlands Trains are not involved in this industrial action and will be running our normal timetable however some of our trains may be busier than normal.

If you have a ticket for travel on Northern services you will be able to use your ticket on board an East Midlands Trains service, on Friday 28th March. 

Refund Information

If you decide not to travel you can apply for a refund. Tickets are refunded at the place where the ticket was bought. If your tickets were bought via East Midlands Trains by phone, they need to be sent back to:
