Disruption Information

Essential route improvement work will be taking place between Peterborough and Ely from Saturday 26th to Monday 28th August 2017.

We've started to make big improvements to your railway which means you may experience some disruption whilst we carry out the work.

From Saturday 26th August until Monday 28th August, there will be no direct trains between Norwich and Nottingham

If you are travelling towards Norwich

Our trains will terminate at Peterborough with a rail replacement bus service running direct, between Peterborough & Norwich.

If you are travelling from Norwich

Our trains will terminate at Ely; customers for Peterborough, stations to Nottingham, and beyond will need to travel on the direct rail replacement bus service running between Norwich & Peterborough.

If you are travelling to Ely

Our trains will terminate at Peterborough with a rail replacement bus service running between Peterborough & Ely; this is operated by Crosscountry Trains.  Our trains are running between Norwich & Ely.

If you are travelling from Ely towards Nottingham and stations beyond

Our trains will start at Peterborough. A rail replacement bus service will be running between Peterborough & Ely and operated by Crosscountry Trains.

Rail Replacement pick up points

Peterborough – Rail Replacement buses will depart from the station forecourt.  For more information about this station you can contact Virgin Trains East Coast. 

Norwich – Rail Replacement buses will depart from the station forecourt.  For more information about this station you may contact Abellio Greater Anglia. 

Ely - Rail Replacement buses will depart from the station forecourt.  For more information about this station you may contact Abellio Greater Anglia.

We advise that tickets are posted via Recorded Delivery to ensure your tickets arrive safely.

Tickets purchased over the website

If your tickets were purchased via our website (at anytime), they will need to sent back to -

We advise that tickets are posted via Recorded Delivery to ensure your tickets arrive safely. If they have not yet been collected and were bought online, you can request a refund by logging into My Account and going to the Order Status and Refund applications section. Please note the the conditions of some tickets may mean that they cannot be refunded.

If bought at a station, they need to be returned to the relevant station ticket office, which will process the refund.

We do not offer refunds on Print at Home tickets.
