Changes to your car parks at Derby station

From Sunday 19 November, over half of the spaces in the Pride Park car park (Zone 2) will be temporarily closed and will not be in use.  However, an additional 80 spaces will be provided in an extended South car park (Zone 3).

If you are not able to park in Zone 2, please use the map below, or the maps in our car parks to find alternative parking options.

If you have already purchased a ticket to park in Zone 2 it will be valid in Zone 3 and Zone 1.

Zone 2 car park will fully reopen in summer 2018.

Why are we doing this?

We are working with Network Rail and CrossCountry Trains to deliver the Derby Resignalling project - the biggest improvement to the railway in Derby for nearly 50 years.

The first part of this £200million investment will provide a new platform, opposite the existing platform 6. This work starts in November and access to the site is needed through the part of the car park. This new platform will open in summer 2018

What is Derby Resignalling?

The second phase of the project takes place between 22 July and 7 October 2018. During this time, a major programme of works will take place in and around Derby station to enhance and improve the railway. It will mean significant changes to train services during this time.

We will provide more information on these works and how they will impact your journey in early 2018.
