East Midlands Trains has announced that it will be providing a number of extra trains for customers returning home after the Kasabian gigs at the King Power Stadium this weekend.
Extra trains will leave from Leicester between 11pm and midnight on both Saturday 28 May and Sunday 29 May to nearby East Midlands Trains stations, including Loughborough, East Midlands Parkway, Long Eaton, Beeston, Nottingham and Derby.

Andrew Conroy, Customer Experience Director for East Midlands Trains, said:
“We know that there will be a great atmosphere in Leicester this weekend and we want to help people enjoy watching Kasabian at the King Power Stadium.
“We’ve therefore done a lot of work to provide extra services for people travelling home after the gigs on Saturday and Sunday and we’re pleased to confirm that there will be more trains running from Leicester between 11pm and midnight on both days.
“Full details of the timetable can be found on our website, eastmidlandstrains.co.uk, and we’d advise customers ahead of the weekend and make sure they are aware of their last trains home after the gigs.”
