The benefits of East Midlands Trains new timetable will be broadcast to hundreds of thousands of viewers this week as the company launches its brand new TV advertising campaign.
The TV adverts, which will be shown for the very first time in the first advert break of Coronation Street this evening, are intended to raise awareness of East Midlands Trains new timetable, with a particular emphasis on the benefits of faster journey times from the East Midlands to London as well as the company’s cheaper online fares.
Commenting, David Horne, Commercial Director of East Midlands Trains said:
“With Coronation Street attracting up to 287,000 viewers per episode in the East Midlands, we’re hoping our very first TV advert will receive a lot of interest. Our new timetable offers much faster journey times to London, and with prices starting from just £12 one way, we’re confident that there’s never been a better time to take a trip to London.”
The adverts, which have been created in conjunction with M&C Saatchi, will screen on ITV1 from 2 February in the East Midlands area and then from 2 March in the Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire region, with further adverts across both regions from April onwards.
