East Midlands Trains has announced that it will be running two additional train services this coming Friday, 27 January to enable fans to travel to the Derby County vs Leicester City FA Cup fourth-round tie.
Extra services will run as follows:
Rob Burton, Customer Events Strategy Manager for East Midlands Trains, said: “We know that Leicester City fans have been allocated 5,500 seats at the FA Cup fourth-round tie on Friday, and we know that a lot of fans will want to travel by train.
“We’ll therefore be providing an extra train before the match and a later train after the match to make sure fans can get back to Leicester.
“We’ll be working closely with the football clubs to make sure fans are aware of the additional train services they can use.”
