East Midlands Trains has announced that it will be running two additional train services this Saturday 11 March to enable Lincoln City fans to travel back from London after the big FA Cup 6th Round tie with Arsenal.
Extra services will run as follows:
10.27pm from Newark North Gate to Lincoln, connects with the 9.00pm King’s Cross to York (arrival at Newark North Gate 10.13pm
11.30pm from Newark North Gate to Lincoln, connects with the 10.00pm King’s Cross to Leeds (arrival at Newark North Gate at 11.17pm)
Rob Burton, Customer Events Strategy Manager for East Midlands Trains, said: “We know that a lot of Lincoln City fans will want to travel down by train to London for their big 6th round tie with Arsenal.
“We’ll therefore be providing two extra trains formed of five cars for after the match to get fans back safe and sound to Lincoln, whatever the score.
“We’ll be working closely with Lincoln City to make sure that Imps fans are aware of the additional train services they can use.
“Good luck to Lincoln City and let’s hope for a little magic of the FA Cup this weekend.”
