Great Central Railway Model Railway and Engineering Exposition

Join Great Central Railway on 20 – 22 June as they host their first ever 8 mile long, model railway and engineering exposition. 

Great Central Railway's model railway and engineering exposition is set to provide a fantastic weekend for model railway enthusiasts between 20 - 22 June.  With a mammoth 8 mile setting, the exposition is set over Great Central Railway’s four stations, Loughborough Central, Quorn & Woodhouse, Rothley and Leicester North, with each station offering a specialist display of models representing an area of the model railway hobby. 

The main base for the exposition will take place at Quorn & Woodhouse where model railways will be featured inside a huge 35,000 sq ft marquee.  The features of the other stations included in the exposition include a simulator at Leicester North, a model engineering display at Rothley and lastly, a toy and train emporium at Loughborough. 

Taking place across the three days, the exposition opens at 1000 each day and closes at 1700 on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June and 1600 on Sunday 22 June.  Tickets are priced from £15 and include access to all four locations and travel between each location.

You can get to this weekend long exposition by taking the train to Loughborough station with East Midlands Trains, Loughborough Central is a twenty minute walk away or a short 5 minute taxi ride.
