Putting Community at the Heart of our Stations

Here at East Midlands Trains we work with communities across our network to make our stations a more welcoming environment. On our three Community Rail routes we work together with our Community Rail Partnerships Officers to engage with local people and community groups who take a real pride in improving their local station.

Our Community Rail Lines include; the North Staffordshire Line, Derwent Valley Line and Poacher Line Community Rail Partnerships which include an abundance of volunteers and station adopters, alongside our Community Rail Officers.

Additional to the great work done by our Community Rail Partners and volunteers, East Midlands Trains have invested over £300 million in your stations, including numerous improvements at local stations and across our network.

Take a look below at each of our lines to find out what the improvements our Community Rail Partnerships, volunteers and investments have brought to local stations.
