What is PLUSBUS?
It’s a discount price ticket for unlimited bus travel around town that you buy with your train ticket. So you pay for your complete train and bus journey in one easy transaction. PLUSBUS is available to 290 towns and cities across Britain. You can change between East Midlands Trains services and bus services with PLUSBUS at 32 stations, including: Bedford, Cambridge, Derby, Leicester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Peterborough, Sheffield and York.

How does it work?
Ask for PLUSBUS when buying your train ticket, for unlimited bus travel around town on all participating bus operators’ services. Your bus travel can be at the start, the finish, or both parts of your train journey. For each town there is one zone that covers the whole urban area. With your PLUSBUS ticket you can travel as much as you like by bus within this zone.
Most PLUSBUS ticket prices are around £2 to £4 a day, depending on the size of the town or city. With a Railcard you can save one-third off the PLUSBUS ticket price. Children (aged 5-15) pay half the adult PLUSBUS day ticket price.

As an East Midlands Trains customer, you can get special discounts on single, return and weekly tram tickets from Nottingham station. To claim this discount you will just need to buy your tram ticket at any train station, presenting your train ticket, and you could pay just £1.50 for a single journey, £2.50 for a return or £12 for a weekly ticket.
