If you're travelling to/from Bedford, Luton and Luton Airport Parkway - London St Pancras International, please refer to Thameslink timetables for information on restrictions. If you're travelling to stations that are not on the East Midlands Trains network, different restrictions may apply. Please check before your travel.


So are all tickets valid at the weekend?

Well actually... If you're making a journey at the weekend and coming back at the weekend, the Super Off Peak Return ticket is the cheapest and the only one you will need.

However, if you're making a journey at the weekend and returning on a weekday, refer to our handy chart above to work out what type of ticket you need for coming back.


Our Ticket Types

Here's the lowdown on our main ticket options, click on the ticket type to see full details and T&Cs.

Anytime tickets

With an Anytime ticket, you can travel at any time. This ticket type is perfect if you need to be flexible with your journey to and from the capital.

Off Peak tickets

You can save money with an Off Peak ticket if you choose to travel outside of the busiest times. Travel on the date shown on the ticket and return within one calendar month.

Super Off Peak tickets

To save your pennies, grab a Super Off Peak ticket. This ticket type is great if you can travel during quieter times. Travel on the date shown on the ticket and return within one calendar month.

Advance tickets

If you really want to nab a bargain, plan ahead. Our Advance tickets can be bought on our London and Liverpool to Norwich routes, on selected services, subject to availability.

You can book an Advance ticket as far as 12 weeks before you travel – the earlier you book, the cheaper the tickets are in both in both First and Standard Class.

Change of plans?

 If you need to amend your travel times, there’s a £10 admin fee plus the difference in the ticket price you are changing to. You can do this at the Ticket Office.
