Why are we doing this?

We are working with Network Rail and CrossCountry Trains to deliver the Derby Resignalling project - the biggest improvement to the railway in Derby for nearly 50 years.

The first part of this £200million investment will provide a new platform, opposite the existing platform 6. This work starts in November and access to the site is needed through the part of the car park. This new platform will open in summer 2018

What is Derby Resignalling?

The second phase of the project takes place between 22 July and 7 October 2018. During this time, a major programme of works will take place in and around Derby station to enhance and improve the railway. It will mean significant changes to train services during this time.

We will provide more information on these works and how they will impact your journey in early 2018.

The dedicated Derby Resignalling website is now available and provides detailed information on the works as well as detailed travel information for our customers.
It is available at www.dby2018.co.uk
