Station Ticket Office
Self-service ticket machines can be utilised at any time during the day, but if you require any assistance the ticket office opening hours are as follows:

Car Parking and Bike Parking Facilities
The Sheffield Station Car Park features 678 spaces. The car park is also open 24 hours to provide maximum accessibility for drivers.
For those that are cycling to the station, there is a sheltered 24-hour cycle hub with changing and toilet facilities located at the station entrance. There are 400 cycle storage spaces with additional stands on Platform 6.
First Class Lounge
Located on Platform 5, the First Class lounge offers complimentary refreshments, newspapers and Wi-Fi access. Opening hours are 06:00 – 18:30.
The entire station has step-free access with lifts to all platforms. There are also accessible ticket machines and a booking office counter with ramps for train access. In addition, an induction loop is available for those with hearing aids.
Free, fast Wi-Fi is provided with The Cloud in 30 East Midland stations including Sheffield.

Long and short stay car parks operated by APCOA have space for those that need to drive into the station. There are 856 long stay spaces available and 47 short stay spaces. Both car parks are open 24 hours a day.
For those that are cycling there are 43 cycle storage spaces. These are located on Fairfield Street, Ducie Street and at the station front entrance.
Step-free access coverage is provided, and staff help is available with pre-booked mobility assistance. There are also accessible ticket machines, an accessible booking office counter and ramps for train access. An induction loop is also available.
Public BT Wi-Fi is available throughout Manchester Piccadilly Station.
What compensation is available if my train is delayed?

Are first class tickets available from Liverpool to Manchester?
While we do not offer first class tickets on our regional services, you can still expect a comfortable seat and our record punctuality with a standard fare.
Is it possible to bring my bike from Sheffield to Manchester?
You can bring your bike on board for free, but we only have space for two at a time and we suggest reserving a spot before you travel. Folding cycles can be carried on all of our services if they can be stored safely in luggage racks. You can also make use of our Cycle Hubs and other storage facilities.
