What to do in Lincoln

Lincoln offers a charming city break full of architectural gems, historical sites of significance and independent shops.

For a short rest and a bite to eat, try afternoon tea with a twist at Curiositea; an Alice in Wonderland style tea room.

It might be hard to fit in shopping amongst Lincoln's historical attractions, however if you do get time, make sure to pay a visit to Bailgate. One of the most historic parts of Lincoln, Bailgate is also home to a collection of independent boutiques and shops located against the cobbled streets. Steep Hill (voted Britain's Best Street) also offers an interesting visit with its vintage and retro stores.
