Nottingham Train Station

Nottingham Train station is undergoing a multi-million pound station upgrade, which is due for completion in early 2014.

East Midlands Trains is working with Nottingham City council to refurbish and modernise Nottingham Train Station completely as part of The Hub Project. The work includes a completely new concourse, energy efficiency improvements and better access to transform the station into a world-class transport hub.

For further information on the works or to download a map showing the changes taking place, visit the Nottingham Station changes page, for the very latest updates, as they happen.

Major resignalling works are planned for 20 July to 26 August 2013, where Network Rail are investing £100 million to renew the railway around Nottingham in 2013 to improve the signalling and enhance reliability. This will include relaying 6 miles of track, installing more than 140 new signals, upgrades and changes to signal boxes and crossing, and a new platform at Nottingham Station.
